Sinopsis

Bioseguridad en la formación del odontólogo: desarrollo de competencias y prácticas seguras es una obra académica que aborda de manera integral los principios, normativas y procedimientos esenciales para garantizar la seguridad en la práctica odontológica. A partir de fundamentos teóricos, estudios actualizados y experiencias formativas, el libro examina temas como el control de infecciones, el manejo adecuado de instrumental, la gestión de riesgos biológicos, el cumplimiento de los estándares internacionales (OMS, CDC) y la importancia del diseño de entornos clínicos seguros.

Asimismo, incorpora un enfoque educativo orientado al desarrollo de competencias profesionales, destacando la necesidad de formar odontólogos capaces de aplicar medidas de bioseguridad de manera ética, técnica y responsable. A través de capítulos que combinen teoría, análisis de casos, normativas vigentes y estrategias pedagógicas, esta obra se convierte en un recurso esencial para estudiantes, docentes y profesionales que buscan fortalecer la cultura de seguridad en la atención odontológica.
